A dispute broke out between two parties while dancing on Holi at Khair Bypass located in Bannadevi police station area of Aligarh metropolis. The dispute escalated so much that even fighting and firing took place. In which a young man got shot. Who is undergoing treatment in the medical college. His condition still remains critical. The police have registered a case against four people in the entire matter. On March 26, a young man was arrested and sent to jail.
Sanju Choudhary, resident of Lodha near Khereshwar temple, was playing Holi on March 25 with his friends Hemant Pandit, resident of Nada Pul, Chhotu, resident of Khair Road behind petrol pump and others. At around 1.30 in the afternoon, he had gone to celebrate Holi at his relative’s house near the petrol pump tank located at Khair Bypass. There was a DJ installed near the house, on which everyone started dancing. Meanwhile, two parties came face to face regarding dancing. After an altercation, a fight broke out. In which Ashu, resident of Khair Bypass, native of Modinagar Road, Hapur got injured. He suffered serious head injuries. After which the local people pacified the matter.
It is alleged that after some time Ashu, Himanshu, resident of Lodhi, Lakshmipur, Saufi and Govinda came on bikes. They stopped Hemant, Sanju etc. and beat them up. Hemant was hit in the head with the butt of the pistol. Chhotu also got hurt in the fight. During this, the accused fired several rounds from the pistols. Whose bullet hit Sanju between his shoulder and chest. Informed the police. The police admitted the injured to the district hospital. From where he was referred to JN Medical College. His condition here remains critical.
After the incident, the police started scanning the CCTV installed at the spot. In which all four accused have been captured while firing. A complaint has been filed on behalf of Hemant in the matter. Inspector Pankaj Kumar Mishra said that a case has been registered against all four people. Ashu has been arrested. A pistol has been recovered from it. Others are being searched.
